    David Olsson is Vice President and Head of Institutional Distribution at BlockFI. He started his career in proprietary trading firm and a hedge fund, Caxton, and later moved to Merrill Lynch where he spent time in New York and London and was responsible for a structured financing and structured products desk. In London he built a team from the ground up, and launched several businesses including a managed account platform for fund-linked derivatives. He then moved to Credit Suisse, where he also led a team in Equity Derivatives, and then was asked to spearhead an effort focussing on sophisticated UHNW clients in its Private Banking unit before taking up his role at BlockFi. He graduated from Duke University with a BA in Philosophy, and Columbia University with an MBA.
