Trust Deeds: A Passive Real Estate Investment
As a non-depository credit institution, Ignite Funding differs from crowdfunding models as it offers a true collateralized investment, Trust Deeds. Over the past year, the real estate market has been affected in many ways. Investors are searching for consistent yield but are unsure of which markets to invest in.
Ignite Funding works with a handful of Borrowers with a proven track record. It follows a strict underwriting process when evaluating its loans before they are presented to Ignite Funding Investors on a matrix that includes, but is not limited to; location, market conditions, various valuation methodologies, Borrower track record and financial condition, and exit strategy.
Learn how Ignite Funding gives investors access to commercial Real Estate opportunities in a much more efficient way through Trust Deeds!

Colby joined the Ignite Funding team in 2019. His knowledge of Trust Deed Investments combined with his previous financial services experience helps provide his investors with a better understanding of how to build a well-balanced portfolio. Licensed with a Series 65, he worked with high net worth individuals (minimum investor account size of $500,000) for two years as an Investment Advisor Representative at Fisher Investments. Colby’s experience helps him see the value in broadening his knowledge outside of traditional asset classes, and looks to help investors do the same by educating them on alternative real estate investments through Trust Deeds.
Colby attended University of Portland, earning himself two bachelor’s degrees with a double major in Finance and in Operations & Technology Management. He accomplished this while also competing with and becoming the Captain of the University’s Division 1 men’s soccer team.
